Martin Tod has added a short training video to the Flock Together blog, showing users how to add a meeting to the site.
Potential Liberal Drinkers should also be aware that any meeting added to Flock Together which is associated to the ‘organisation’ Liberal Drinks will automatically appear on this website’s feed, and in particular our map. You only have to register your meeting once to get on the network.
As soon as I have time, I’ll be adding a section to this website on holding your own Liberal Drinks (helpfully titled “organising a piss up in a pub” to give you an idea of the complexities involved).

Would be useful if FT could log regular events (ie Reading Liberal Drinks being the last Sunday of the month).

James, what do you think of Liberal Drinks hosting a film night?
An Inconvenient Truth opens next Friday which would be timely for a pre-conference bit of politico/cultural stimulus.
The cinemas showing the film are:
London:
Curzon Soho
Electric Notting Hill
Picture House Clapham
Ritzy Brixton
Vue Islington
Odeons Covent Garden, Camden, Kensington, and Swiss Cottage
Cineworld Fulham Road and Haymarket
Edinburgh: Cineworld and Cameo
Glasgow: Cineworld Renfrew St
Manchester: Odeon (Filmworks) and Cornerhouse
How about it?

Sounds like an excellent idea, and we could agree a pub to meet up afterwards to chat about the film. Watch this space.

[…] Finally, Duncan Hames suggests a film night - specifically to see Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth next Friday. Sounds like a good idea, what do people think? […]
